About ODTIF
Ocean Data Tapestry International Forum
Ocean Data Tapestry International Forum (ODTIF) is an international collaborative platform that integrates science, advanced technology, and artistic expression to address ocean pollution and promote a sustainable future for our oceans.
Officially recognized as a member of the UNESCO-IOC Blue Thread Network, ODTIF aims to create a comprehensive digital tapestry of the ocean by combining accurate scientific data with innovative technological tools and powerful artistic storytelling.

Our Vision
We envision a world where the ocean is no longer silent.
Through the harmonious integration of science, technology, and art, ODTIF seeks to transform complex marine data into stories that touch people’s hearts — inspiring individuals, communities, and policymakers to take meaningful action for ocean protection.
Our ultimate goal is to build a future in which humanity and the ocean coexist in harmony, with the ocean’s voice clearly heard and respected by all.
Our Mission
ODTIF operates based on five interconnected pillars:

Science
Conducting rigorous research to understand marine pollution mechanisms, microbial contamination, and ecosystem changes.

Education
Promoting Ocean Literacy to empower the next generation and the wider public.

Technology
Developing innovative tools for ocean data collection, source tracking, and digital representation of the ocean.

Art
Creating immersive artistic experiences that translate scientific findings into emotional and accessible narratives.

Policy
Providing science-based insights to support effective ocean policies and coastal resilience strategies.

Who We Are
Our Approach
Unlike traditional approaches that separate science from society, ODTIF believes that true change happens when science meets emotion.
By weaving accurate data with artistic expression and educational outreach, we make ocean issues not only understandable but deeply felt — encouraging broader public engagement and lasting behavioral change.
Blue Thread Network Membership
In recognition of our commitment to Ocean Literacy in Action, ODTIF was officially accepted as a member of the UNESCO-IOC Blue Thread Network.
This prestigious membership affirms our role in the global effort to connect people with the ocean through knowledge, creativity, and collective responsibility.
