Key Partner Institutions & Roles

Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM)
Dr. Sangwoo JI, Dr. Dong-wan CHO's Team

A leading national research institute in earth sciences and mineral resources in Korea, conducting in-depth research on geological characteristics and environmental problem-solving. Key Role Dr. Cho Dong-wan's team contributes to ODTIF's environmental geological analysis and terrestrial pollution source tracking research. They provide expertise in analyzing pollutants accumulated in river sediments, supporting in-depth environmental sample analysis that complements filter-based data, and enhancing ODTIF's scientific rigor.

Korea Environment Institute (KEI)
Dr. Hanna CHO

A national research institute in the environmental field, performing research and analysis for environmental policy formulation and proposing policy alternatives for environmental problem-solving. Key Role Dr. Hanna Cho plays a crucial role in advising and supporting the translation of ODTIF's research findings into actual environmental policies. She contributes to effectively delivering scientific data and artistic messages to domestic and international environmental policymakers, leading to practical policy changes.

Vietnam Japan University (VJU)
Prof. Nguyen Thi Hoang Ha

An institution of higher education established through cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, actively conducting research and education in environmental science and sustainable development, with deep understanding and local networks in Southeast Asian environmental issues. Key Role VJU serves as ODTIF's regional hub in Southeast Asia, supporting the implementation of pilot data collection projects in the region based on its expertise in local environmental conditions. It also operates community engagement and capacity-building programs to enhance local residents' ocean literacy and encourage behavioral change.

University of Florida

Prof. Chamtuet OH

A leading research university in the United States, possessing world-class research capabilities in marine science, environmental engineering, water pollution, and microbial ecology. Key Role The University of Florida provides international expertise in ODTIF's marine biological pollution and microbial ecology research. It offers in-depth scientific consultation on the impact of terrestrial pollutants entering marine environments due to natural disasters, such as microbial contamination and biofilm formation mechanisms, thereby expanding ODTIF's research scope and strengthening international research collaboration.

ELSETECH
Seungil PAK, CEO

A leading company in developing innovative environmental technology solutions, possessing unique expertise in filter-based pollution data collection and analysis. Key Role ELSTECH leads the establishment of ODTIF's technological foundation and the development of core data collection methodologies. It plays a pivotal role in the research and development of filter-based pollution data collection technology, building a data integration platform, and generating wide-area water pollution maps.

Art Farm LK

Jaechung KIM, CEO

A cultural arts company specialized in conveying social messages through the convergence of environment and art. It utilizes various art forms, including performances, exhibitions, and media art, to foster public communication. Key Role ArtfarmL&K oversees ODTIF's artistic expression and public participation programs.
